Additional assistant referees

Fourth official

Markus Häcker

Felix Brych

The 42-year-old Bundesliga regular began refereeing in 2004 and was awarded his FIFA badge in 2007.

In 2014 Brych took charge of the UEFA Europa League Final between Sevilla and Benfica. Three years later Brych was chosen by UEFA as the referee for the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final, in Cardiff between Juventus and Real Madrid.

Games involving MCFC

Earlier in this seasons Champions League campaign Felix took charge of our group stage tie away in Napoli. On that occasion the lads thrashed the home side 4-2.

On that night the only City player to enter the ref`s naughty book was Otamendi.

The previous time the qualified lawyer took charge of a Manchester City game was on 25 November 2015 when City lost 1-0 away at Juventus. On that particular Champions League game Felix showed Sagna, Navas and Fernandinho yellow cards.

Season 2017/18

Out of his 24 domestic, Champions League and World Cup qualifiers the FIFA listed ref has brandished 81 yellow and four red cards.

Here’s hoping Herr Brych keeps his cards in his pocket and allows the game to flow.

Come on CITY!
