Manchester City confirmed earlier today that number two shot stopper, Joe Hart has moved to Premier League newbies Birmingham City on a season long loan deal.

Shay Given ousted Joe (22) in January and ever since his move poor old Joe has done nothing but warm the City bench.

The England Under-21 international, regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the game is expected to nudge Birmingham’s current keeper, Maik Taylor down the pecking order.

The former Shrewsbury youngster, who has been capped once by the senior England side told the official Manchester City site…

‘It has been tough. It’s frustrating, but there’s only one person can play in goal and Shay’s doing that at the moment.’

‘I’ve had to deal with it the best I can. It’s not been ideal, but it’s not the end of the world.’

With the St Andrews club being one of the favourite sides to automatically return to the Championship Joe Hart is expected to be one heck of a busy-blue.
