Napoli’s film producer chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has decided to have a go at MCFC following his team’s fine Champions League performance in Manchester…

The eccentric Alan Sugar lookalike who’s attributed quotes down the years read like an A to Z of controversy has called for UEFA to speed up the process of bringing new financial rules in the wake of Napoli’s 1-1 draw at The Etihad:

‘Does Michel Platini want to make this financial fair play rule or not?. Is it going to be respected? In any case, I have fun challenging money wasters.

‘People had said that City and their cousins United are the candidates to win the Premier League and it would be really hard for Napoli…it didn’t go like this and if it weren’t for a few errors, we could have won.’

As previously reported, City, on the look out for an incontrovertible CEO, have been handed a dreadful run of Premier League away fixtures after each Champions League commitment this year. It transpires that Napoli were dealt a bum hand themselves at the Serie A fixtures announcement this summer at the Lega Calcio headquarters. De Laurentiis went mental before bombing off via a backy on a passing scooter:

‘I will quit football. You lot are all s**t! I will go back to making films. It’s a disgrace everything is fixed and I am ashamed to be an Italian.’

Thanks for your input, Aurelio and see you again in November!
