Jordy Hiwula, following loan spells with Yeovil and Walsall last season, has made another exit from the Etihad Stadium but this time he’ll not be coming back as he’s signed a permanent deal with Huddersfield.

Jordy becomes the latest Citizen, and we’ve seen a few in recent times – both in the playing and coaching department, to link up with the Terriers and good luck to the lad.

The 20-year-old, who enjoyed a much more successful loan with Walsall than he did a struggling Yeovil side, has seen his three-year contract with the Championship side confirmed on mcfc.co.uk with an undisclosed fee agreed for the striker.

It’s always a shame to see a younger player move on but realistically he wasn’t going to make inroads into our first-team squad under Manuel Pellegrini or anyone else really was he so this is a good move for his future career, which we’ll keep and eye on going forward.
