Media speculation is beginning to turn up a notch or two, especially when it comes to Manchester City and rumours over player in and outs. But do you believe any of them?

Since ADUG took over at City fans and the club itself has read more claptrap, drivel and nonsense like never before, nevertheless there will become a point when one or two of the speculated players actually sign on the dotted line, or for that matter, leave the club. But who?

Let’s have a look at see if any of the tabloids are talking rubbish, or perhaps you think they might have it spot on.

31 May – Another Sunday tabloid, The People went to press claiming Barcelona`s top scorer, Samuel Eto’o will sign for an estimated £30m.

31 May – The News of the World are at it again when they say Aston Villa’s Gareth Barry has had enough and wants a new challenge.

29 May – Stoke want Ched Evans (Express)

28 May – Inter Milan will happily take unsettled Brazilian Elano off Mark Hughes’s hands (Sun)

26 May – The Sun reckon Martin Petrov will sign for Tottenham.
