Howard Webb MBE is to take charge of Sunday’s Premier League match between Manchester City and Sunderland.

The 39-year-old Yorkshire man has refereed all there is to officiate in the game of football, including last years World Cup final in South Africa and last seasons Champions League final.

This season the so-called Manchester United supporter has taken charge of 36 matches whereby he’s shown 110 yellow and six red cards.

Mr Webb will be assisted by John Flynn and Trevor Massey while the fourth official is Mark Halsey.
