Viktor Kassai

The 41-year-old printing sales executive participated in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and refereed the 2011 UEFA Champions League Final. He has been a full international referee for FIFA since 2003.

Season 2016/17

Other than officiating within his native countries domestic league Viktor was in-charge of the Champions League game (13 September) between PSG and Arsenal. During the bad-tempered game Mr Kassai showed six yellow cards and sent off Verratti (PSG) and Arsenal’s Giroud.

This referee has a reputation for showing yellow’s – for example, between 2 September and 21 October (10 games) he’s shown 57 yellow and three red cards. His best effort was on 24 September, a match between Honvéd and Ferencváros when, the yellow came out of his pocket eight times.

On Tuesday, I wonder how many times Viktor Kassai will add to this seasons tally?

Viktor Kassai – the reputation!
