Bundo sent Vital Manchester City the following.

I pass on my congratulations, you have completed one of the hardest weeks of this season. You have put up with the chirpy squawking from those canaries all week and I think you deserve a pat on the back, go on – do it; put down that coffee mug, put down that bottle of vino, put down that mobile phone (I doubt she’ll text back anyway – hard to get is the way to play) and pat yourself on the back, good and hard.

The team that I and you so truly adore, I’m afraid, lost the big game – the one game (or four in this case) in a season that matters the most – the Derby. You’ve now handed over the tenner to your United fan friend from your earlier bet, you have put up with the stick, you have put up with the agro and you’ve put up with all the jibes from our local Norwich (never was good at geography) supporters and I know it may not make up for it, but I hope that pat on the back went someway to making you feel better.

This ‘stick’ may not end for a while though. However this Saturday we have a chance to try and put it all behind us with a win against Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal.

Phrases like ‘Gary Neville – what a legend’ were thrown into your direction each and every day of this week by another and another supposed United fan, however I have a line that I must say this weekend, a line I never thought would never come across my lips, a line I never wanted to ever say, a line no other City fan will ever want to say, ‘we want United to win’!

United play Tottenham this weekend which if our neighbours were to win would give us an advantage against the other London team, Arsenal and hopefully plummet the mighty Blues into a Champions League spot.

So, Arsenal will want Tottenham to win and the feeling is mutual from Tottenham, however United would like City to win and as will City to United – such a kafuffle!

Patrick Vieira, Kolo Toure, and Emmanuel Adebayor (and his handbook on goal celebrations too) will all possible play their ex team at the Emirates Stadium this weekend (with Sylvinho also possibly making an appearance against his ex-team also), which adds more to this massive clash and should make this an exciting weekend.

Come on you Blues!
