At this years Derby Day at the City of Manchester Stadium something very special is going to happen to me.
The day we all look forward to being a Manchester City supporter when our beloved club goes up against the not so successful, not so well known neighbours, Manchester United!!
As many of you will know but last month I won the prestigious ‘Pride of Manchester’ award after beaten off nominees such as Sir Alex Ferguson, Ryan Giggs, to name but a few.
17th April 2010: City v United
At half-time I will be presented in front of more than 47,000 Mancs were I know god will be looking down on me. I will also be pleased to show off my award not only to 47,000 plus Mancs but to a world-wide TV audience close to a billion people.
So let’s get the atmosphere flowing and show Manchester United what we can do! Oh and of course you could also give me a wave and a round of applause if you really want.
