If Manchester City win one competition this season which one will it be?
This is the question we’re asking visitors to Vital Man City via our front page poll question.
I for one still think Chelsea and Manchester United are strong contenders to win the 2010/11 Premier League. In the same breath though and thinking with my head rather than my heart, Manchester City are real and genuine contenders to finish above Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham. Yup, I’m going to put my money were my mouth is by putting a few notes on City finishing third, or above.
Staying on the betting theme…
This years Carling Cup is ours for the taking. We only just missed out in last years competition but, if Roberto Mancini takes the Carling Cup as seriously as Mark Hughes did in the last years early rounds then I have a feeling the trophy should be ours.
FA Cup
Never an easy competition to win – my prediction is a quarterfinal appearance.
Europa League
The bookies put MCFC as odds on favourite to win the tournament outright. Not an impossibility but I’ll stick with my original prediction and put my money on us winning the Carling Cup.
