Giving his usual pre game press conference, manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Manchester City will be without three players for the game against West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

Yaya Toure is struggling with an Achilles problem, James Milner has picked up a knee worry and won’t be risked, as wont Aleksandar Kolaro who has a muscle problem.

Speaking to the Official Site the gaffer explained.

‘We have three problems. Yaya has a problem with his Achilles tendon so he won`t be there tomorrow. Kolarov has a muscle problem and Milner has played with a problem in his knee for the last month, so I don`t think they will make it. All the other players are fit.’

With it being a case of how we were when it comes to the other players, Pellegrini also took the opportunity to praise goalkeeper Joe Hart following his efforts in midweek against Barcelona.

‘He has improved a lot from last year. He was a good goalkeeper, now he is a football player who plays as a goalkeeper.’

Ending with more comments about West Brom, Pellegrini also wouldn’t rule out making more than just the three enforced changes for the early kick off given the applicable time between the two games.

‘It`s not the best moment to play because we haven`t had long to recover. Maybe we are going to refresh the team mentally. It`s important to have a good performance and score at the beginning.’
