Following an impressive final World Cup group match game for England against Slovenia yesterday (23/06/10) James Milner’s name has resurfaced on Manchester City’s radar.
Reports suggest City boss Roberto Mancini has already seen a £20m offer rejected by Aston Villa but a further £30m offer might be enough to tempt the Birmingham based club into submission.
With Milner concentrating on Sunday’s must win game against Germany no direct approach with the player is expected for the time being. Nevertheless, the 24-year-old’s agent is reportedly keeping in touch with City’s negotiating team.
