Manchester City youngster Javan Vidal told Sky Sports earlier today that he is hoping for a loan move to the Championship once he recovers from injury.
The 21-year-old right back said…
‘The loan switch has been put on hold for a bit unfortunately. That is still the plan when I regain my fitness because I’m looking forward to going out and getting some games under my belt.’
‘Obviously you want to play at the highest level possible, so I will be looking for a move to the Championship before considering the drop below that level.’
‘It is all about getting games under your belt and getting your name out there a lot more because reserve team football can’t compare with first-team level.’
Vidal added…
‘It is a great experience and the chance to play senior football each week is something I am looking forward to doing again.’
Manchester born Vidal has previously had loan spells with Derby County, Aberdeen and Grimsby Town.
