Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion however my gut feeling tells me John Terry’s days at Stamford Bridge are numbered.
We don’t know whether Manchester City has made a third bid for the England captain but I have a sneaky suspicion John Terry’s head must be close to being scrambled.
Terry must be asking himself..
Why hasn’t Peter Kenyon approached me and explained the City offer?
Will Chelsea offer me an improved contract?
If not, why not?
Am I being taken for granted?
Should I be thinking about a new challenge?
Would I prefer giving the Champions League a miss this season allowing me to prepare for next years World Cup. Less games means less chance of being injured.
City fans were in a similar situation a couple of years ago when Chelsea came in and pinched SWP. Now the shoe is on the other foot I wonder what Chelsea fans think. I know, I bet they are shaking in their boots.
John Terry could have ended all this speculation by making an official statement, but no, I suspect he’s too busy thinking about moving north.
