Stevan Jovetic has been linked with various clubs, mainly in Italy, on and off for quite some time now but last week it was an unlikely move to Liverpool being claimed.

The most likely step, as a move away from the Etihad Stadium before the transfer window closes is something most of us would expect to see, would appear a return to Serie A with it said today his agent is in Milan for talks with Inter.

A move I could most certainly see happening but I’m not so sure on the rumoured fee Inter would be paying for the Montenegro international as a season-long loan with a ?15m clause to make this permanent seems a little on the low side for me?

?15m equates to around £10.78m, or thereabouts, and I’d expect us to be looking for something around £12m-£15m for him….

Or am I expecting too much!

Should he make this loan ‘when’ the permanent deal kicked in he’ll sign a four-year contract at the San Siro by all accounts.
