With the turning of the new month being officially new contract days for players, here’s the confirmed Manchester City playing squad changes ahead of 2015-16.

All of these are known about, but become officially permanent from today.

James Milner as we know has officially now registered as a Liverpool player following the expiry of his Manchester City contract, but he’s not the only one who departs officially.

Micah Richards is also now no longer with us, with his contract expiring last month and his new deal at Aston Villa coming into force from midnight.

Richards ends a 14 year association with us with his departure and the 26 year old leaves having made a total of 245 appearances for the club across all competitions, with a defensive goal return of nine strikes.

He also skippered us on a number of occasions becoming our youngster captain ever back in 2007 where ironically he led the team out against Aston Villa.

The loan deals of Alvaro Negredo at Valencia, Matija Nastasic at Schalke and Scott Sinclair at Aston Villa also today officially become the permanent deals that were agreed as per the loan arrangements.

Negredo leaves having made 49 appearances for us, scoring 23 times – 2013-14 was his stand out year where he scored those 23 goals in only 29 starts before injury hit.

Nastasic leaves having made 51 appearances in totak during his time with us.

Sinclair’s spell ends with a total of 19 appearances to his name.

Dedryck Boyata’s move to Celtic was also confirmed last month, and he leaves having made 36 appearances for us, scoring once.

Contract wise, goalkeeper Richard Wright’s new one year deal comes into force and John Guidetti is now officially released.

EDS midfielder Jack Byrne’s new deal has now come into force, and he will spend 2015-16 out on loan with Dutch side SC Cambuur for experience.
