Bundo sent Vital Manchester City the following.

Ahh it’s that time of the week again – the midweek footy time! It’s now when we sort the men from the boys as some will talk only of the game, the whole game and nothing but the game; whereas others will still be rabbiting on about the X Factor final, Christmas shopping and how much they are going to drastically change their lives when it comes around to 2011 …just like in 2010. It’s time now to stop exactly what you were just doing and go and get a pie and a pint and watch the wonderful blues as we play once more in this elite competition.

Just to make sure you are all in order since our last European adventure, I will bring you up to speed: the red bull didn’t go down too well, the old lady might not make it, the Poles have propped up in the way, and the citizens are leading the way – yes group A of the UEFA Europa League is really shaping up as we reach our final fixture of the group stages and will have to give our warm goodbye waves to the two strugglers of the pack and leave them behind. Having already qualified for the last 32 of the Europa league, City will probably put out a much changed team and will be hard to predict (unless you are predicting that a certain Argentinean will be left out, then I have a feeling that may be the case) but no matter what – they will all go out there wanting to beat the team that have in the past bossed Europe as this is the game that most of us were looking forward to when we were given our group earlier this season – yes it is Juventus away!

This Thursday night Manchester will take Turin by storm and show the Italian’s how it’s done – proppah.

It’s the second time we will face the Juve this season, so we are already familiar with them after the 1-1 Eastlands draw previously in the season and now face the Italian side at the Stadio Olypico de Torino (possibly the most Italian stadium name around) with the likes of Cheillini, Iaquinta and Del Piero, coming up against us blues and our leader Roberto Mancini (‘Woah’ Sorry – habit) – boyhood Juve supporter himself.

The Italian feel will be around both squads with tactics and our very own Roberto going back home to Italy and we hope to give him a send off from the group stages, knocking out the big Italian giants and topping the table…before he jets back off to his new home of Eastlands. Not too much to ask for is it Santa? No not you Roque, sit back down on the bench with your blanket.

The newspapers are obviously all massively looking forward to this hot, hot, hot contest of massive players, in a wonderful stadium, with two sets of the best fans in the land and all the world as City have basically been on the back pages of every paper since weekend! Ah…maybe not so much about the game.

Yes, we will be without the man of the moment Carlitos Tevez, as he hasn’t travelled to the game after his hectic week of doing journalist’s jobs by creating headlines.

Of course it will be more difficult without his work rate and clinical finish, however we did it on Sunday, so what’s to say we can`t do it again? We have been labelled many a time by other teams and other fans as a ‘one man team’ and now we have the opportunity to throw out this thought…especially under the recent circumstances. Whether it is Ballo, Ade, Jhonno, Jamie Milly or any other player with a nickname who steps into his shoes it does not matter…just as long as they have big feet.

So bring on the Juve! Bring on the round of 32! Bring on the rest of Europe

Bundo, over and out.
