Late Winners from Latics

Manchester City were very unlucky not to walk away with anything from this game as for eighty minutes you could quite easily argue that City edged the possession and created more chances. The few years age gap was really apparent in the final ten minutes as City’s legs tired in front of their slightly older opponents. City went in front on thirty minutes when City played some neat football and I am sure the final strike was Vladimir Weiss as he was the one that the players congratulated even though the announcer said it was substitute Adam Clayton. Our lead was short lived however as Oldham had equalized within two minutes from Matty Wolfenden.

ity certainly applied themselves much better in this game, but as before a sprinkle of slightly older experience would have made a big difference. Oldham’s goals came from substitute Lewis Alessandra in the eightieth minute and the third killer goal on the eighty sixth minute by Chris Hall.
