Frederico Rodrigues Santos or simply Fred has, by all accounts been on Manchester City’s radar for quite a while. But, are we likely to see him at the Etihad anytime soon?
The Brazilian international (6 caps) attacking midfielder has been applying his trade at Shakhtar Donetsk since 2013, however, with an estimated £50m price tag, how likely is it that the 24-year-old will be heading to the North-West before the 2018 January transfer window closes?

Some media outlets suggest Fred will remain in the Ukraine because he is ineligible to play for City in the Champions League (cup-tied), but if a deal cannot be sorted within the next 24 hours the club will re-assess their options in the summer.
