Responding to a challenge tweet on social media, plenty of Sky Blues supporters have been making their best attempts to describe club legend David Silva in three words – with many fans pouring love out to the Spaniard in the wake of his last ever season at the Etihad Stadium.
Silva, who has racked up a legendary 424 club outings for City, scoring 74 goals and assisting 137 others in that time, announced at the beginning of the campaign that this season would be his last – prompting an emotional response from waves of fans who have have adored watching the Spaniard since his arrival back in 2010.
From the start of the last decade to the beginning of the new, Silva has been an ever-present crucial cog in the Blues midfield as managers come and go – helping to guide our club to trophies galore since the dawn of the Sheikh Mansour era.
