According to a report from the Daily Mail, Man City are among potential candidates to sign Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho – with arch rivals Liverpool and Man United also in the hunt for his signature.

Sancho, scoring an impressive 17 goals and assisting 16 others in the Bundesliga alone this season, has also racked up 20 strikes in all competitions – turning the heads of City, United and Liverpool who all reportedly ‘want‘ the youngster as per this update.

Indeed, the £190,000-per-week attacker is at the centre of heavy interest according to the Mail, especially considering the ex-City starlet’s rise to stardom since leaving the Etihad in 2017.

Signing for Dortmund in a meagre £10 million deal, Sancho has gone on to rack up 34 goals and 43 assists in just three seasons as per Transfermarkt – with City and our rivals now considering the possibility of handing the 20-year-old a coveted Premier League return.

Even though the Sky Blues are eyeing a swoop, manager Pep Guardiola has recently hinted that he could be unable to find a replacement for star winger Leroy Sane – with other areas of the team taking priority.

City ‘remains an option‘ for Sancho though, and his stats highlight that he could be worth the lofty £100 million investment.

According to WhoScored, Sancho completes more dribbles on average than any City player, with only playmaker Kevin De Bruyne managing to better his ratio of key passes per 90 in the league.

Described as the ‘perfect player‘ by Germany legend Lothar Matthaus, a swoop for the England international would certainly add strength, but whether or not Guardiola will prioritise a move remains to be seen.
