Man City star edging closer to Etihad exit with “everything agreed” – Report

|

According to ‘transfer expert’ Marc Behrenbeck, speaking to Sky Germany, Man City star Leroy Sane is edging closer to an Etihad exit with ‘everything agreed‘ between himself and Bayern Munich – but the transfer fee is one last remaining obstacle.

Sane has made 134 appearances for the Sky Blues since joining from Schalke 04 in 2016, scoring 39 goals and assisting 45 others in that time as per Transfermarkt.

Will Sane's exit be a monumental blow for City?

Yes, future star

Depends on the price

He also etched himself into the memories of City supporters everywhere during our domestic quadruple-winning campaign, scoring in the 2-0 away derby win at Old Trafford as well as the winning-goal over Liverpool at Eastlands – both arguably crucial victories on our way to retaining the title.

However, over this last year, Sane has been repeatedly linked to Bavaria – with reports from last summer indicating that the European giants are interested in a swoop for his signature.

After tearing his ACL in the Community Shield final victory over Liverpool, the German has had to endure sitting on the sidelines for the majority of this campaign – which also could have postponed his move to the Allianz Arena.

Now, the 24-year-old may have taken a huge step in returning to the Bundesliga, at least according to Behrenbeck on Sky transcribed by Sport Witness – with Sane allegedly having ‘everything agreed‘ with Bayern over a move.

However, while there appears to be an agreement with the player, both City and Bayern are still yet to compromise on the transfer fee – but ‘everything points‘ to Sane departing Manchester.

Whether or not this will prove to be a blow over time remains to be seen, but supporters will at least be hoping we receive a worthy price.
