Manchester City enjoyed a 4-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday evening and Bernardo Silva was one of many players who impressed at Etihad Stadium.
The 26-year-old didn’t get on the scoresheet, but he nearly bagged City’s second goal, firing over from close range after his headed effort was well-saved by Rui Patricio.
Silva didn’t have a hand in any goals on the night, but his performance was appreciated by supporters on social media.

It’s hard to predict where Bernardo Silva will be playing for Portugal this summer, but a player of his quality and versatility is too good to leave out of the team.
He put in another tireless shift off the ball today against Wolves and is reaching a new level under Guardiola. https://t.co/unpKt6J5c8

Just end watching City vs Wolves and they are pure joy to watch. Mahrez, Bernando Silva and Jesus has been outstanding individually but Pepe system is so good. It seems like their attack had certain pattern but their speed and passing is incredible. You just can't predict

Just a tweet to praise Bernardo Silva. His work rate is phenomenal. Good on the ball, but we knew that, but OFF the ball – hustling all the time, pressure. Relentless. #ManCity #MCFC pic.twitter.com/1HglVQgdcS

Silva has made 31 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring five goals and supplying five assists (Transfermarkt). The 26-year-old has been a regular under Pep Guardiola, operating in a variety of roles in midfield and attack, so his contribution goes beyond goals.
