Manchester City aren’t short on attacking options out wide with Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Ferran Torres at their disposal, but Pep Guardiola is looking to the future.
The Sun say City are ‘locked in talks’ with Fluminense for Kayky and Guardiola is desperate to bring him to the Etihad Stadium. The 17-year-old has been called ‘the next Neymar’ and could soon be making the £21m move from the Maracana.

Kayky is highly-rated despite never making a first-team appearance at club level. As per Josh Law of Forbes, he’s starred for Fluminense U17s, operating as a left-footed right-sided player, scoring 12 goals in last year’s U17 Brasileirão.
Fans can expect Kayky to ghost past his opposition on a frequent basis. He’s a pacey player who loves to run at defenders, is able to play on both flanks and is adept at one-one-one situations. In the final third, Kayky has good distribution to pick out players in scoring positions, which is why he’s been compared to Neymar.
City are exercising a lot of faith in a player that’s only shone at youth level, but Guardiola can point to the likes of Phil Foden when it comes to developing teenagers. Kayky could have a bright future at the Etihad if he makes the switch, so he may be one to watch.
