Born in Birmingham on New Years Day, 1971 the self-confessed Aston Villa fan has been on the refereeing circuit since the early 90’s. In 2005 he qualified to officiate in England’s top division.
Marriner, who was FIFA listed in 2009 dropped out of the worlds elite eight years later due to age restrictions.
Season 2017/18
Out of a total of 35 matches, Andre brandished 97 yellow and five red cards.
Games involving Manchester City
The 47-year-old took charge of the final Premier League game of the 2017/18 season (Southampton 0-1 City). On that occasion, Ederson and Gabriel Jesus went into the official’s bad book.
