Roberto Mancini has bemoaned the departure of Fabio Capello as England manager.

The former AC Milan, Juventus, Roma and Real Madrid boss resigned over the John Terry affair, where he allegedley abused Anton Ferdinand in a league game back in October, after the FA took the decision out of his hands.

Mancini, who used to manage Inter Milan, says his fellow compatriot could have achieved the ultimate goal this summer by winning Euro 2012 in the Ukraine & Poland but now we’ll never know after his departure.
