Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini must have one, if not the most stressful job in the English Premier League.

With more money at his disposal than any other manager in the history of British football the first few months of the new campaign are going to be crucial.

Club Chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak and Chief Executive, Garry Cook have utter and total confidence in the 45-year-old Italian, however, a slow or poor start to the season will see Bobby Manc suffer pressure like never before.

Splashing the cash is fine and dandy, and to be perfectly honest, easy, but creating a team spirit and a winning mentality is another.

First few fixtures

14 August – Tottenham Hotspur – away
23 August – Liverpool – home
29 August – Sunderland – away
11 September – Blackburn Rovers – home
18 September – Wigan Athletic – away
25 September – Chelsea – home

Pressure, what pressure?

I for one wish Roberto every success, nevertheless, Mancini must impress or suffer the consequences.
