Cue more groans across Wapping. Roberto Mancini has publicly placed his faith in all four of his title winning strikers…

It’s getting to be a nightmare for your average Phil Space tasked with knocking out Manchester City exit rumours for demanding Sports Ed hacks this summer. Spoilsport Mancio has done it again, this time refuting claims that he is after another striker this season.

In order of seniority, Carlos Tévez, Edin Dzeko, Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli rattled in 69 goals between them in all competitions last season and have a combined wealth of Premier League savvy and medal winning experience in Manchester behind them.

If it ain’t broke, why fix it? Mancio to Gazzetta dello Sport:

‘I have four very strong strikers.I just need them to compete in the Champions League…we are okay in attack.’

Balotelli and Dzeko Training Skills

In other news, the fact that Manchester City walked away from Eden Hazard’s ludicrous salary and agent fee demands is slowly filtering through. As is the knowledge that he missed the Belgian team coach at the hotel for training in Liege. A not uncommon occurrence in the world of Hazard.
