City gaffer Roberto Mancini has called time on City’s protracted dalliance with Udinese speedster Alexis Sanchez whilst knocking about in Italy…

In a move indicating that City will operate more reservedly this summer, the shrewd Blues boss told Sky Italia:

‘I talked to Sanchez, he said he was willing to come to City…but after the last offer we are out of the race for the Chilean…’

Mancio went on to declare his faith in both Mario Balotelli and Carlos Tevez remaining at Eastlands this summer:

‘Balotelli to AC Milan? For now, certainly not. In the future you never know…Tevez is a good player and I think he will remain at City…’

Mancini then announced his intention to bring in another forward:

‘I have three strikers. We need another one.’

Who do you think Mancio will bid for? Give us your thoughts!
