Not unlike Harry Redknapp, Sir Alex Ferguson has developed a City Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Roberto Mancini coolly replied to Taggart’s ramblings today…

Upon the confirmation of City’s sixth and final top quality signing of the summer, James Milner, the dapper City gaffer was quizzed briefly about the rag overlord’s latest bizarre focus on the former lidde ciddy:

‘All the other big teams have spent a lot of money in the past. But not fifteen years ago. One year ago, two years ago, three years ago. This is normal.

‘If you want to buy a good player, you have to spend money. This is the market.’

And in reaction to the hacks directly asking him for his view on the City obsessed Stretford Bin Man’s latest bitter outburst:

‘This is not important for me. I respect his opinion, but I repeat, Manchester united is like Manchester City. They have spent a lot of money in the past.’

Earlier this week the desperate rags boss, boosted by his veteran players latest, yet slowly evaporating high performance hypocritically stated that ‘You can’t buy success.’

The Citizens are in Timisoara for the first leg of the Europa League qualifier.
