Mark Hughes Facing Both Barrels

Attention Manchester City fans. Should the Blues lose against Premier League bottom club WBA on Sunday, Mark Hughes can be assured of one thing and that is he will be facing both barrels.

City is in a precarious position whereby anything less than a win against the Baggies could see the club drop down into the bottom three. Defeats against our up and coming opponents Hull City and Blackburn Rovers could realistically see us at the foot of the table.

The Club has gone on record and said they hope to bring in four, possibly five new faces during the January transfer window. Mark Hughes has drawn up a wish list of players and if they are available at the right price, City fans can expect to see an unfamiliar starting line-up once the window closes. A blessing to many as this current crop is simply not up to the task of keeping our Premier League status.

The tabloid press are slowly but surely, beginning to sink their teeth firmly stuck into Sparky. They want to see blood and perhaps, they might just get their wish should our incredible drop in form continue to spiral out of control.

This is my first published article whereby I am setting out the stall, albeit with trepidation. I know there are several regular Vital Manchester City forum posters who will read this and take it as personal insult, nevertheless it has to be said, Mark Hughes is walking on thin ice.

Should we witness another poor performance and defeat this weekend I promise I will throw caution to the wind and give Mark Hughes, both barrels.
