Budding blogger, Blue Lad Scragg sent us the following…

Martin Petrov admits he could be on his way out of Manchester City. The 30-year-old attacking winger is beginning to feel uneasy about the current Eastlands situation and reports suggest he will insist on talking to Mark Hughes once he returns from international duty with Bulgaria.

He told the Bulgarian Dnevnik…

‘I don’t see City depending too much on me this year, at least from what I have seen from the pre-season friendlies so far. No footballer is content with polishing the bench and I am no exception.’

‘There were several inquiries but no offers as of yet.’

‘In the next week I will try to speak with Hughes and if I get the green light for a transfer I will start searching for a new team.’

This news is extremely disappointing as Petrov has looked really impressive during pre-season, nevertheless one can’t blame the man for wanting regular first team footy.
