The Premier League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against West Ham United this weekend.

Manchester City travel to West Ham on Saturday January 23 for the game at Upton Park and the match carries a 5.30pm kick off.

Referee: Craig Pawson
Linesmen: S Child and D Bryan
Fourth Official: J Moss

Match Day referee Pawson (South Yorkshire) has officiated two City games this season – the scoreless draw with Aston Villa in November and the scoreless draw with Leicester in December. In those games he showed six yellow cards, four to City.

He has however already taken in 24 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 70 yellow cards and one red card.

He was most card happy in the match between Slovan Liberec and Braga in the Europa League on September 17 with a total of seven yellows being shown. He also showed seven yellows in the game between Sunderland and Aston Villa on January 2.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
