The National in Abu Dhabi has tonight revealed that City and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council are to work together in the future assisting the UAE capital’s football clubs…
The Blues Academy is the envy of English Football and that fact will have not gone un-noticed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour and Blues Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak as they settled into their respective roles with the club.
It turns out that the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) already has collaborations in place with Inter Milan and Valencia. To see City’s name in the mix alongside those clubs in this work will generate great pride throughout SportCity.
City will mastermind training camps and football workshops as part of the three year deal.
City fans continue to pinch themselves at these developments considering where we were 10 years ago, ‘down among the dead men’ in the third tier of our national sport.
