Contrary to what many erstwhile big four sympathsisers in The Street of Shame would have us believe, Manchester City is a soundly run club these days and is as powerful off the field as it is on it. A fact that certain hacks are about to discover.
The club confirmed via mcfc.co.uk:
‘The club are seeking to redress fundamental inaccuracies, the distortion of facts, and a breach of basic journalistic good practice in a number of articles in today’s media reports. In some instances legal action will be pursued, notably in the case of an article in The People by Steve Bates.’
