The 49-year-old self-confessed Tranmere Rovers fan has taken charge of just the one Premier League fixture this season – Arsenal 4-3 Leicester City. On that occasion he issued just the one yellow.
His last City game, as referee was on 5th April 2017 when MCFC went to Chelsea and lost 2-1. On that occasion Kompany, Clichy and Delph went into his naughty book.
It’s Mike Dean’s world, we’re just living in it.
