Danny Mills has been placed on the transfer list after finding himself out of favour under the Stuart Pearce regime.
Mills, who was a Kevin Keegan signing, was brought into the club on a five year contract but has failed to look anything like the part since his arrival.
The decision to transfer list him is more evidence of a clearing out of some of Keegan’s more extravagent signings and should release more income in the form of saved wages.
Having said that, City may find it difficult to find a buyer who will want to match Mills’ current terms and as such may find it difficult to offload the player.
