Derby Build Up: James Milner is preparing to take part in his second Manchester derby and declares that the mood in the City squad is one of confidence:
‘…It will be a tough game and it’s up to us to go there, perform and try and get a result. We are confident. We have world class players all the way through the side. We have younger players and older players and it’s a good mix here.’
As usual, form will go out of the window and it’s increasingly noticeable that more City players are talking about the team’s objectives as opposed to their own this season. Jimmy Milner is no exception:
‘…United have the experience of winning titles. They are looking to do that again and it’s up to us to go and put a spanner in the works. We know we can keep improving and we will do that. We work hard in training and we have great scope to go on and become even better. I think that’s the main thing, to move forward as a team.’
