Matija Nastasic and reports linking him with a City exit are hardly new are they, although claims are being made that Schalke could be looking to take him to Germany.

Previously he’s been linked with a return to Italy to sign for Inter Milan, perhaps an all too easy link? Arsenal and Spurs are also said to have ‘been offered’ the defender for £5m but his excessive wage demands ‘proved the stumbling block.’

So, Arsenal and Spurs, from the riches of the Premier League, couldn’t afford him but German outfit Schalke can…. Hmm, interesting!

Without an appearance for us this season, and seemingly not in Manuel Pellegrini’s plans, the defender could well be one of those on his way out and German reports are saying that Schalke are keen on him and talks have begun, but only on a loan deal?

Any exit would be one that we would sooner agree with a straight money offer though you would think? Website Goal.com claims that he’ll make a £10m move, but the Germany reports in Bild claim that talks are ongoing over a loan move….

I would say that Nastasic is one you would anticipate going next month, if he does we need this to be a permanent move really don’t we?
