The Premier League has appointed Neil Swarbrick to referee Monday evening’s match at Dean Court between AFC Bournemouth and Manchester City.

Neil Swarbrick

Swarbrick took up refereeing relatively late, at the age of 29. Within six years he was promoted to the National List of assistant referees. He fulfilled this role for four years before being added to the Referees’ List.


Born and currently living in Preston the 51-year-old is known to be a passionate North End supporter.

Out of a total of 23 games Swarbrick has issued 86 yellow and two red cards.
