Manchester City fans can expected the club to sign the likes of Kaka, Messi, Ronaldo, Michael Essien, Gianlugi Buffon, Steven Gerrard, Andrei Arshavin, and the like, can’t we?

New City owners, Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG) and the person who set up the company, Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim has a wealth, more or less exceeding £23billion – so what can Blues fans expect come the January transfer window?

Kaka

Brazilian attacking midfielder currently playing for Italian giants, AC Milan. In today’s market, the 26-year-old might be worth £35million.

Lionel Messi

Aged just a mere 21 and a winger with style. He currently applies his trade with Barcelona and would be a snip at £25million.

Gianluigi Buffon

Italian shot stopper (30) playing for Juventus. The six foot four inch goalie might be tempted away for the first time out of Italy with an offer of £80,000 a week.

Samuel Eto’o

Yet another Barcelona player well worth a look at. The 27-year-old striker has 72 Cameroon international caps, with more in the pipeline.

Manchester City, if interested would have to pay in the region of at least £40million for his services.

Andrei Arshavin

Tottenham tired and tried to sign the Zenit Saint Petersburg attacking midfielder / striker during the transfer window but failed, miserably. Should City put in a bid, nothing less than £25million would tempt the Russian club away from his native land.

Cristiano Ronaldo

If you believe everything you read, Manchester City will offer the Rags £134million for the 23-year-old Portuguese ace. Will he or won’t he, that is the question?
