Manchester City FC are on the verge of announcing a new four-year sponsorship deal that will see a new look City shirt for next season.

Air Etihad will replace the clubs current sponsors, Thomas Cook and will pay the Eastlands club around £30 million for the privilege.



The club will also have a new shirt manufacture, with Umbro set to take over from current manufacturers Le Coq Sportif, in a seperate deal worth around £15 million.

City fans can expect an official announcement prior to Saturdays Premier League fixture against Tottenham.

Etihad Airways

Established in 2003, Etihad Airways is the flag carrier airline of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The company is based in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE.

Etihad translated into Arabic means ‘united’, ‘federation’ or ‘union’.
