Manchester will see its first New Year’s Eve celebrations since the millennium with more than 80,000 revellers expected to descend on the city.
Partygoers in the city centre will be treated to a fireworks spectacular, with a 10-minute display launched from the roof of the Arndale at midnight, however anyone going should wrap up warm as temperatures are expected to dip as low as -2 degrees.
