Flocking to an image relayed from goalkeeper Ederson’s Instagram account, many City supporters are ecstatic that defender Eric Garcia is ‘well and back‘ after colliding with the Brazilian during our 3-0 victory over Arsenal in mid-week – taking to Twitter with their thoughts.
Garcia, who was stretchered off the pitch ten minutes from full-time after suffering an accidental blow to the head, is now out of hospital and seemingly back on the training ground after a full recovery.
Could Garcia become City's future captain?
Yes, sky high potential
The Spaniard, lifted off the Etihad turf in a neck brace to receive treatment following the incident, is pictured with Ederson wearing a face mask and looking cheerful – prompting plenty of supporters to applaud the ‘good news’.
Pep Guardiola’s side comfortably dispatched Arsenal courtesy of strikes from Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden – but the occasion was slightly dampened given the seriousness of Garcia’s blow.
Now, with the 19-year-old back at City, supporters are joyous over the update – find all of their best comments down below.
