Manchester City’s greatest ever player has called for the City side to make the Etihad Stadium a fortress this season…
Ahead of tonight’s league opener with Swansea, City and England’s Colin Bell told th’official site:
‘I want to see us turn teams over and make teams frightened to come to the Etihad Stadium…to have any chance of winning the title we have to really go for it at home and win most of our games here starting against Swansea..
‘I’d like to see us set our stall out and attack teams at home because we have the players to do it.’
It’s clear upon the evidence that was set out before the nation on it’s top flight football pitches this past weekend that City have the tools to win the Premier League.
Opportunity knocks to make a statement with title rivals Chelsea and Arsenal both unable to score goals at Stoke and Newcastle respectively. The rags meanwhile continued where they left off last season with another fortuitous win at West Brom.
