Croatian outfit HNK Rijeka aren’t going to be punished by Fifa for the alleged racist abuse that City youngster Seko Fofana suffered during pre-season.

Fofana had been sent off during the game in Novigrad but when Elite Development boss Patrick Vieira got wind of news that the 19-year-old was believed to have been racially abused minutes before his sending off, for lashing out at an opponent, he confronted the referee.

It was then decided to take his players from the field.

An official complaint was lodged but it has now been decided, much to our disgust, that ‘there was insufficient evidence to open disciplinary proceedings’ against HNK Rijeka and they’ll face no further punishment!
