Ex Manchester City striker Paul Dickov has been offered a player / coaching role at Championship side Blackpool.

The 35-year-old striker moved to the Seasiders back in January 2008 on an initial four-month loan, however, since that time the well travelled Scotsman has impressed manager Simon Grayson to an extent that the club are willing to offer Paul a player / coaching position.

Talking to www.blackpoolfc.co.uk the Blackpool boss said…

‘I spoke to Dickie before I went to Norway and we had a good chat.’

‘We have offered him a role at the club and a contract and we are waiting to hear back – he has a few options open to him and rightly so he is going to look at each one, he really enjoyed his time with us and he has gone away to think about the role and offer we made to him, along with the other opportunities…’
