Seems to be good and bad news on the injury front Claudio Reyna could be missing for around three weeks with ligament damage. Pearce said: ?Claudio will be out for in the region of three weeks, although we will have to address that as we go along, and Nedum will be a couple of weeks.

But Pearce said, on the official site: ‘Apart from that, we?re fine!? with other players are slowly returning to fitness.
?Trevor Sinclair has just started light training, which we?re very pleased about, he?s ahead of schedule’ and ?Richard Dunne should start light training in the next day or so, so he?s also ahead of schedule. Andy Cole and Ben Thatcher will join in training today, Willo Flood will be out for a couple of weeks.’

Pearce also seems happy we have strength in depth: ?It?s (the injuries) not a problem as such, we?ve got other players to come in and play, that?s the good thing.?

Andy Cole could be fit for the Sky live game against Aston Villa on Monday night, when Vassell will also be gunning for his former club.
