Jack Grealish missed Manchester City’s 3-3 draw with Barcelona and 4-2 win over Crystal Palace after picking up a knock last week, but the 26-year-old might be back in time to face Nottm Forest on Wednesday evening.
City host the Premier League new-boys at the Etihad Stadium and could have Grealish available for the clash as he’s been training for days even though he’s not made the matchday squads of late.

Pep Guardiola said prior to the Palace victory that the England international was getting better without being fully recovered, so the extra time should have done him good.
It’s unlikely he’ll be in a position to start, but it will be good for Guardiola to have another attacking option as Riyad Mahrez has struggled for consistency. The 31-year-old may have been at risk of losing his place if Grealish was fully fit.
That being said, City aren’t having a problem scoring goals this season. They’ve hit the back of the net 13 times from four Premier League games, so Grealish should thrive in this team when he returns. Guardiola will no doubt update the media on his situation in the pre-match press conference.
