I thought we were going to move another step closer to the league last night without even playing but that lot across the city just about got away with it.

Not to worry, it still means we can celebrate the title in front of them and I`m all for that – but let`s focus on tomorrow night for now.

It`s going to be an odd one because, with all due respect, it`s almost a friendly given what happened in the first leg.

Even if we rotate heavily I can`t see Basel overhauling the sheer deficit in goals and so, with that said, I think Pep will certainly ring the changes.

If I was him – which unfortunately, I`m not – I`d play a fair few of the fringe players in order to keep them interested in the competition.

For sure, it`s not going to match the intensity or pressure of a semi-final or something like that, but it is still a game that needs to be won and should add to a sense of competition for places.

The boss should play some experienced heads – I`d expect the likes of Claudio Bravo to play for example as well as Yaya Toure in midfield ahead of what could be his final few months at the club.

I`d also play Raheem Sterling because – though he is not a fringe player as such – he should be given a chance to try and challenge Leroy Sane for his spot. With that said, though, I`m not sure whether that is possible right now!

I`d give another start to Zinchenko, too, because he`s rapidly growing as a footballer and certainly looks a top prospect that should only benefit from games like this one.

They`re the four players I`d like to see feature tomorrow night, but who would you like to see most?
